Nanny Salary

Nurture & Nanny strongly encourages nannies to discuss all finances, job duties, and special circumstances with the family prior to commencement of employment. Having all business matters agreed upon ensures a successful working relationship. Several factors go into deciding your salary: years of experience, number of children under your care, job duties, and hours to be worked. When calculating salary, be sure to consider overtime pay, vacation pay, raises and/or medical benefits. When a placement has been made it is highly recommended that you form a work agreement with your family. This agreement should include the following:

-Work Schedule (days/hrs)

-Gross Salary

-Vacation/Sick Days

-Specific Child Care Duties

-Specific Housekeeping Duties

A Sample Work Agreement is available through Nurture & Nanny.
