Costs & Fees
Our Placement Fee as a domestic agency in Los Angeles is 15% of the employee's annual gross income, 20% for baby nurses and temporary placements (lasting less than 3 months). We charge $30 a day for on-call babysitting. If for any reason termination of employment should occur within three months of placement, Nurture & Nanny will provide one replacement without an additional fee.
Our Deposit Fee is $250. This non-refundable fee includes extensive background checks, interviews, past employment verification, and reference checks. The Deposit Fee is only due if placement is part time (less than 30 hours a week).
If one of our candidates is not hired after the initial two week trial period, families will be responsible for the background check fees.
There is no cost or obligation to pay the placement fee until the initial two week trial period is complete. You are however, responsible for paying the employee for his or her hours worked during the 2 week trial period and for paying the agency the Deposit Fee (if applicable). Should you choose to hire an employee from our agency, the Placement fee will be due at the end of the 2 week trial period. Late payments will be charged accordingly and payment plans are available.
